Siljeur Leadership Development Trust is looking for an independent and confident individual to fulfil the position of administrator and coordinator on a voluntary basis.

Position Title: SLDT Administrator

Work Location: The administrator will be based within the Cape Town CBD at the EMA office in Castle Street.

Purpose of the Position: The position of administrator and coordinator is critical in supporting the NPO’s social development and leadership programs, ensuring effective process management and data capturing per projects. Providing effective communication to all the stakeholders of the organization and assisting SLDT in delivering on its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide administration support to the trustees and project managers
  • To assist in coordinating all projects implemented by the NPO (venue bookings, invitations etc.)
  • To provide professional communication to all stakeholders
  • To capture project related data (beneficiary info, training data etc.)

Criteria & Experience:

  • Tertiary education qualification or relevant practical experience.
  • A keen interest in social development work and training
  • An outgoing personality capable of interacting with stakeholders over the phone and technology platform.
  • Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to project requirements.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Skill in organizing time and establishing priorities.
  • Must be between 21 – 28 years

Commitment Expected: The successful individual will be required to work three half days per week (total of 12 hours per week) or as required per project.


Training: The individual will receive an induction on the mission of the NPO and its operational management processes.
